Master’s degree in Sociology of Politics and International Relations aims to give students a thorough knowledge and understanding of historical and contemporary developments in the society, politics, economics and culture of this large and diverse area.

The program is designed for students who want to meet the needs of a variety of employers in major public, commercial and voluntary institutional settings and who wish to acquire a specialized knowledge of sociology and international relations. It is also intended to cater for newly graduated first degree holders seeking to enter employment in areas which require people with an in-depth knowledge of these academic fields and highly developed analytical skills.

The program is open for both local and foreign students. Therefore, we do acknowledge the difference in students’ backgrounds in the language, sociology, political studies and international relations. Make sure you match the prerequisites

To apply for the program you should have at least B2 level of English and Bachelor degree in Sociology or equivalent.

Fill in the online application form

Complete all the fields carefully with the necessary information. Don’t forget to attach a copy of your educational documents, translations (if any*). Our Admissions Team will contact you soon right after you submit the application form.

If there’re no translated and notarized documents, you can do it at the University, during the application procedure

Receive the email from admissions officer

Our Admissions Team will check your documents and inform you about next steps of application procedure. It’s better if you find out more about visa and recognition of your documents in advance.

Sign the educational contract and pay the tuition fee

The tuition fee for the program is 195 000 RUB (≈ 3 060 USD. Please, note that it may change due to currency rate)

Please, note that you should submit your application before application deadline. Otherwise you will not have time to obtain visa and undergo the admission procedure at the University.
